The gemstone amethyst derives its name from the Greek word "amethystos," which means "not inebriated," and it represents healing and peace. 

 

 

March (Aquamarine)- March serves as a transition from winter's cold to the first hints of spring.Aquamarine, the March birthstone, is recognized as the calming stone, making it ideal for times of transition. Aquamarine is a common choice for engagement rings and is derived from the Latin word "aqua marinus," which means "water of the sea."

The July birthstone ruby is regarded as the "stone of kings" since it is a favorite gemstone of royalty.  

 

August (Peridot)- August is the pinnacle of the summer season, and it's a great time to take advantage of the last few sunny days. The birthstone peridot represents the sun and is an appropriate gemstone for August. Peridot has a heavenly, brilliant green-yellow light to it, giving it a bright and one-of-a-kind appearance.  

 

 

September (Sapphire)- September heralds in the start of fall and brings with it seasonal changes. September is a popular month for weddings, and sapphire, the birthstone, is one of the most popular wedding jewels. The birthstone for September is emerald, which represents monarchy and romance.  

 

October (Opal)- October is a magical month with its vibrant fall colors, shifting leaves, and autumnal mood. Opal, the birthstone for October, embodies this season of color with its own rainbow iridescence. The color range of opal compliments a wide range of jewelry colors and designs.  

November (Citrine)- November is the harvest season, which is set against the backdrop of autumn's grandeur. Citrine, the November birthstone, gleams with golden brilliance. Citrine is derived from the French word "citron," which meaning "lemon." That is an accurate depiction for this bright yellow diamond.  

December (Blue Topaz)- The winter season begins in December, and despite the temperature, it is very magical. Blue topaz, the December birthstone, complements this season of light and love. Blue topaz is a one-of-a-kind winter gem that encapsulates the serenity of white winter mornings.
